This is the last Hotel recommendation article about Muscat, Oman. As you might remember my sister and I stayed the last two days of our trip at the Ritz Carlton Hotel called Al Bustan Palace. The third and last hotel we stayed in during our time in Muscat. It is a very traditional and totally different hotel as the other two ones I presented you in the other two contributions.
The Al Bustan Palace is tucked between the barren Hajar Mountains and the Sea of Oman. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were totally amazed by their extravagant and traditional design. All 250 rooms and suites have a private balcony with a view to the mountains, the sea or their wonderful garden. But the pool, beach, the beach pavilion restaurant where my sister and I had a wonderful candlelight dinner by the beach including smoking a Shisha afterwards, the Six Senses SPA including a whole body treatment we both got and the private women beach area are my favorite highlights. You read correctly, the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Muscat has a private beach just for women. My sister and I were the only ones on an Sunday afternoon who spent time there, especially because the Omanis have to work on Sundays as they have their weekend from Friday till Saturday.
Furthermore the Al Bustan Palace is the only hotel who served c o c o n u t s. As you can see it in the pictures my sister took most of the pictures with coconuts. Of course, I was super happy when I got the information that the Al Bustan Palace do serve coconuts. Oh my, that was the best part during our stay, definitely. The only thing you need to do to make me happy is giving me a coconut. They are from Salalah. The Oman’s Dhofar coast is the only area on the entire Arabian Peninsula where coconuts are grown. You need to try them in case you are planning coming to the Al Bustan Palace Hotel. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience and stay Al Bustan Palace!
