During my last trip to Paris I stayed in an extraordinary hotel. The Hotel Barrière Le Fouquet’s is located in the centre of the city on the corner of the famous Champs Elysées and the Avenue George V. The luxury hotel has five stars and belongs to the hotel group „The Leading Hotels of the World“. The hotel offers 81 rooms and suites, whose interior designer is Jacques Garcia. I’ve shared a suite with my sister and had enough space for the two of us. The furnishing and the décor was extraordinary.
You’ll find five restaurants and three bars in the Hotel Barrière Le Fouquet’s. The bars are great, especially the Marta Le Bar. If you want to spend an evening with friends or to just start your Paris night life tour, it’s the perfect bar. If you had a long night out in the clubs of Paris, you can order your breakfast 24 hours a day and its always included in your regular breakfast. I liked the strawberries, the avocados and the café latte the most for breakfast. It was truly delicious. The Fouquets Brasserie exist since 1899 and the food there is the finest French Cuisine and meets the high expectations of the guests every time they go there for lunch or dinner. Once my sister and I were too tired to go dinner so we ordered pasta from the room service and we loved it. The room service was great and I can recommend the food.
Due to the central location of the hotel the shopping in the nearby shops and boutiques like Burberry, Cartier and Zara, is amazing. You can also reach some important sights in walking distance, for example the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Avenue Montaigne and the George V metro station is just 70 meters away. If you want to relax a bit after a long day of sightseeing, you can visit the spa of the hotel, which has a sauna and a very nice swimming pool. The spa is a 750 square meter paradise, where you can book massages and Shiseido treatments.
I would highly recommend this hotel. It is suitable for couples, who would like to spend a romantic time in Paris as well as for families, who want to visit the sights. For singles, the central location of the hotel is the perfect starting point for excursions to Paris night life. If you have always wanted to stay in a particularly luxurious hotel in Paris, then you should book the Hotel Barrière Le Fouquet’s.
