FAIRMONT LE MONTREUX PALACE

Traveling is the only thing that makes me truly happy. The more I was super excited going to Montreux for the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace such as for the Jazz Festival in Switzerland. My sister and I arrived two days ago, but I already left yesterday night as my boyfriend and I have to catch our flight to the Seychelles today. But for now I would love to tell you more about the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace and the Jazz Festival which is currently happening in Montreux.

We are taking over the @FAIRMONTLEMONTREUXPALACE Instagram Account where we will be sharing a few captures of our favorite part of the Hotel, Montreux surroundings and the Jazz Festival. Please make sure that you will follow us there too to see what’s new and what’s next in beautiful Montreux. Let us start with how to travel to Montreux. You take easily a flight to Geneva and from there you can choose to travel to Montreux by car or train. The Montreux Palace is one and a half hours from the Geneva Airport. Train is so much easier and the good fact is that the Montreux train station is just two minutes away from the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace.

Montreux was once a sweet collection of romantic villages at the beautiful Lake Geneva, surrounded by mountain ranges. vineyards, fields and forests. Sounds truly romantic. Did you know that the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace was built in 1906, a jewel of the Belle Epoque that offers an ambience of tradition paired with elegance!? The 5 star luxury Hotel is part of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts group and member of the Leading Hotels of the World such as a Swiss Deluxe Hotel. Situated at the idyllic Lake Geneva.
What to discover in Montreux? For one the Chillon Castle which is one of the most beautiful historical rule places in Switzerland. Also to recommend hot balloon trips or helicopter flights over Montreux. Definitely a must, trips to the mountains and tours on Lake Geneva. For photography lovers, a visit of the picturesque old villages should be on your to-do as well or some wine tasting at the wine region called ‚Lavaux‘. There are tons of things to visit, explore and to recommend. The list would get endless, so I decided to share my favorite ones with you.
